If it's a problem that just recently started you may have messed it up with an extra hard flick. If it's always been like that/it's a new controller my guess is that it's a manufacturing problem and you should just get a different controller.

Just a suggestion: pick a viable character, you'll be more responsible with your losses instead of copping them out because you're playing a low/mid-tier. Do what you want and have fun, but don't make excuses either.
