:4falcon: Mostly feels the same to me, including bair. What I haven't been able to do, though, is the edge slide-off with grab pummel, where you would slide off the stage with your opponent. Was this out on an earlier revision? Also feels like the slide is a bit shorter now.

As Captain Falcon, do you pummel or throw after a grab right away? Is it better to do one over the other if given the option? I usually pummel but I am not sure if to get into the habit of throwing. The Cap'n has a pretty good pummel that can rack up some nice damage, but I can see the DI...

Funny. I had this happen to me just today before checking this topic by doing Raptor Boost on a Marth that was recovering, and it sent him upwards for a KO when he tried to snap onto the ledge. Sadly I didn't save the replay... but it's worth a test to see if it was just that his full recovery...

Falcon really has good options against these characters in my opinion. For example: I'm mainly an online warrior though so I guess good tourney people with projectile game or gimping game will have some sort of advantage nevertheless though, since they will know how to exploit such approaches.

I find that better-than-average Megamans use moves you didn't mention (FF Fair, Bair stick out particularly) since Fair covers a lot of a forward arc and is quick, and the last hit of his Bair is really quick and has decent knockback for a Megaman move, so he can gimp you by trading or hitting...

Interesting tip with the Raptor Boost (Is it just a side B? Or am I missing something about Falcon that is called Rapid Boost). I've never tried that before, guess I have to check it out in the lab.

I deal with projectiles by walking, powershielding, and observing how the opponent reacts to that. I think Powershielding is essential to any Falcon so practice with a buddy, get someone to use Link/Samus/Falco etc. and spam their projectiles while advancing towards them yourself. Sometimes...

Showing your Falcon buttocks while asking someone to show Falcon their moves is a treat for the opponent so of course it lasts less, can't be giving away such freebies so easily.
