I say it is fraudulent only because the people who use it, likely can't legitimately mash the B-button fast enough to make use of the recovery. I am speaking from a standpoint in which is from a Melee player that doesn't have the D-pad as an option, but can still perform the Cyclone recovery...

Regardless, the recovery is being stopped, which is the point. You are also acting as if the recovery requires no effort to do. I have seen plenty of people try to down-b mash. Not everyone can do it.

It just sounds to me like you need to work on how to better deal with the recovery. It isn't as good as you are trying to make it out to be. Distance wise, yeah it's one of the best, but it suffers greatly due to it being linear and slow. Luigi is literally going one of two ways. Left-Right...

@Venom_909 If you think that it requires "very very lil precision" to sweetspot the ledge with Luigi's Side-B, why don't you try consistently sweetspotting the Misfire from off the screen. It is a precision recovery. Luigi needs to have already peaked in vertical altitude and be on the descent...
