Revelation unit balance is terrible on every difficulty without grinding. There are quite a few people who still play FE with no grinding because that's how it was in the old games. I think Ike would likely have the advantage. Ike already has huge range, and when compared to Charizard's large hitbox, it's fairly east for Ike to pull of highly damaging combos on him.
