I echo a lot of what people have said so far, for the most part. I do think that the off-stage game isn't all that bad and definitely isn't too risky (outside of puddleless Orcane or just not being confident with your character), but it does feel like it pales in comparison to simple on-stage...

Was it Kenneth that was playing Yoshi at BBQ? I want a 1v1 Yoshi mirror against that guy. Friendly or $10 money match, don't care. Was too fun and I thirst for more Yoshi v Yoshi. Haven't got to do that since the few times I got to play against Tacoom, and that was like 7 years ago.

Hey all, kinda short notice, but I just wanted to drop in and see if anyone would be interested in coming down to Dubuque for our 2v2 tournament on May 10th. Includes PM, Melee (w/Melee team auction!), UMVC3, SF4, 3rd Strike, Towerfall, and Mystery, and ALL of those games are 2v2 only. Also...

I will come up and lose all day in Smash if it means I get to play more Towerfall. :D

I should be able to make it up there with my PC, which means Towerfall is an option. As is either 1v1 or 2v2 Mystery. I should have enough games for either Mystery option.

Quick question (since I'm tired of sifting through reviews of this game that don't actually review the game and instead just say "this is a Smash clone and here's why") Does this game have any 2v2 aspect to it? Or is it all free for all?

You ban the disgustingly difficult to pull off on purpose (impossible on accident) glitch. Not the character. :P No word if he has it in UMVC3 yet. Could care less. Nearly every game has something that can lock the thing up if you're a prick. Why should this be any different? :P

I'll try to be there. If I show up, I'll have a Cube (Melee/DD) and PS3 (UMVC3/SSF4AE/3Soe/AH3) along with an Evo monitor...and maybe a TV if I think of it.

I kinda see your point, but really it's no different than the guy in college beating everyone in his dorm hall in Melee and SSB64 for all his life and then getting lit up when he goes to an actual tournament and sees people wavedashing/waveshining/l-canceling/etc. I've had that experience once...
