I'll put this into practice, currently I only make use of sing when Im close to the opponent, but not close enough to reliably rest. The sing usually hits and then I CAN rest.

Doesn't really apply to me as I've pretty much mastered rest at this point, but helpful for new puff mains. Painful when I see jiggly players waste their chance with rest.

I had this same problem against many a toon link and robin. I usually go with short hop over the opponent with air dodge to avoid an up tilt/smash and then a Bair, But there's alot more safer options than that.

Zero suit samus has become my secondary, even I'll admit jiggly puff can have a few miserable match ups.
