My vote goes to Metaknight for sure. All three pokémon can handle Dedede just fine; don't get grabbed. As far as getting shield-grabbed with Squirtle goes, you have to learn to read and space. I'm actually quite comfortable with the match-up. And my Ivy actually does pretty well against Dedede...

Yeah I agree with everything T-Block said, but on another note, I also really like using Ivy's F- and B-throws, because they lead into Razor Leaf really well, and if you catch someone being dumb, you can actually re-grab at low percents, depending on the character. Rarely happens, but you can...

Thanks, Zigsta! I mostly do the whole random air-dodge thing just to keep myself on my toes. lol. I know it sounds dumb, but that's why I do it. Also, it psyches people out? Maybe I'm hallucinating. 0_0;

I'd say you can use it if someone doesn't know the matchup, which, fortunately, a lot of people don't. lol. I don't do it very often, though. Maybe once or twice in a set at most.

Check out all the guides on here. There are lots. I've written a Squirtle guide, Reflex has covered all three of the pokemans. Check it out. (: Squirtle is generally the best agressor, though, if that answers your questions. Spam aerials, attain vicory. :D
