    Possible New Tech? Turn Cancelling

Yeeeah this isn't anything new. Usually by this point if new tech is found, it's for a mid or low tiers.

    Trouble with Fox combos

It's not necessarily the best option, but something worth considering. When up-throw -> uptilt combos are about to stop working, up-throw -> up-smash works, although there are better options in those situations, just giving you something to think about

How come players side B the opposite way..?

Yeah it's mostly a mindset/momentum thing. On paper it's usually better to try to laser for damage, but it's not going to win or lose you the match either way

    X Y and control stick

I only ever use the control stick to SHDL, but most of the time I just use claw grip anyway. I've never had a problem being too slow to Nair using Y to jump.

    Fox Tech Advice

Yeah, just read the stickied threads/Fox guides. It'll give you practically everything you need to know about playing Fox in Super Smash Brothers Melee for Nintendo Gamecube

How to get better on Fox?

Work on tech skill and movement. Learn L-cancel timing varying whether or not you hit on shield, whiff, etc. Dash dances and platform movement are also good to work on. Reading the stickied threads and just grinding tech skill will carry you pretty far
