Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

I'm pretty sure the actual biggest problem Geno faces is Miyamoto's aversion to original characters from the RPG sub-series. I don't think he minds them making cameos and minor appearances, but a fully playable role as a representative of the Mario series might just be asking for too much. Yes...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

No official ballot data was ever released, all anyone has to go off of is characters Sakurai implied (or outright stated) were popular ballot picks, which include Ridley, K. Rool, Simon Belmont, and Chrom. Being a popular ballot pick isn't really enough to get a character in, though; Isaac is a...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Yeah, the issue with theories like that is that they imply that Mii Costumes are something that should be viewed as an insult or embarrassment. It'd be a slap in the face to all the characters that were only able to get Mii Costumes. Mii Costumes are something Sakurai and co need to get rights...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

At this point, I'm thoroughly convinced that if the Mii Costume does return, you're going to start claiming it's not disconfirmation and that Geno is still 150% guaranteed.

And we've already got 3/5 of SMRPG's playable cast, most of which have SMRPG references in their moveset. This has happened multiple times before. It's a common site glitch.

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Isn't "Mii Costume Guy" literally a 13 year old boy who couldn't even spell the word "Superior" right in his own username?

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Sorry to respond to an old post, but I have some guy in my Inbox actually accusing me of being the banned user you're responding to, and used this post as proof that the user in question was an alt account of mine, so I want to make things clear. I dunno if you were joking here or were actually...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

"Sour grapes" would require me to be sour about something. I'm not a fan of Nier or Tomb Raider, and have no interest in seeing 2B or Lara Croft in Smash. All I'm saying is that it's not really a good look for this thread to go in the direction of "How can we disconfirm non-Geno characters that...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Ummm.....K. Rool's revival wasn't "saved for Smash". Nobody has developed any DK games except Retro since they picked up the mantle, and Retro themselves chose to create different villains. There wasn't another chance FOR K. Rool to "return" since then. "It's just speculation" doesn't really...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Yet here we are, trying to find ways to shove them into a freshly dug grave. Kinda redundant when they're going up against a character who's supposedly all-but-confirmed.

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Also....I'm not even sure why you guys are trying to go out of your way to find ways to disconfirm Geno's competition. Don't you usually get upset when other people try to say Geno is disconfirmed? You guys are essentially doing the exact same thing people like myself and GameFAQs as a whole...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

If "featuring Namco" despite not being developed by Namco is enough to make SFxTK not count, then Soul Calibur doesn't disconfirm 2B, because Square lending their characters to both Smash and Soul Calibur is no different than Namco lending their characters to Capcom. Again: self-destroying...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Yet it is made by Namco, making it an internal project within Namco. Your original argument was that characters cannot appear in Smash if they've been in other crossovers. After someone else brought up DreamMix, you changed your argument to "It doesn't count if the crossover is made by the...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

Your response boils down to "Ryu is an exception because he's an exception". Not very sound reasoning, I'm afraid, nor does it explain around all the other characters who managed to bypass this "exclusivity" clause, nor does it explain why Heihachi was ever put into consideration for SSB4...

Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior

The length between the release of Street Fighter x Tekken (which included Pac-Man as a guest fighter) and Smash 4 is comparable to the amount of time between the release of Smash Ultimate and the end of the second Fighters Pass. So, that kinda does away with any "timed exclusivity" argument...
