Maybe the real play is Mario Doc dual main. Mario obviously has big weaknesses compared to Doc but he has better throw combos on some characters and a better disadvantage state and recovery.

Zain had 1 major to Jmook and Cody's 2 not even two months ago. Tbf he did look like he was clearly the best at Tipped Off though.

I don't think DK is high tier, but I definitely think he is viable to win a major. Like if you had a aMSa level DK with the right bracket it's possible.

Samus, Luigi, Doc, and DK are the only characters can win majors that havent imo. Everyone else sucks

If the Ness combo exists I'll go back to maining him. Then he would only have like 3 unwinnable matchups :)

I've seen some people suggest Zain, Cody, Jmook, and aMSa are going to form a new 5 gods-esque tier of top players. I'm not trying to argue whether or not this is likely, but if it were to happen, what would we call this group? Something like "The New Gods" is kind of boring. What do y'all think.
