I don't have tournament experience, but for me I would play my game and afterward ask whoever beat you for tips or negative tendencies you do when fighting or missed punishment opportunities.

"without lag" can you explain? Lag as in no delay for the competitors? They need to be positive in the future there is 0 lag for players before making the switch from CRT which everyone has used for 10 years or more for competition in melee.

I usually ask my opponent if they personally find it disrespectful. I like to taunt after a really nasty combo or stage spike, but not if it will make someone angry.
