It's been a long time since I played Melee but he appears to be Marth speed to my eyes. He reverse-grips in a lot of his attacks now, actually. It's pretty cool. It is an OHKO at full charge.

Man Roy looks good. He's got a lot of changes from what I could see on stream, a new F-Smash, new F-Air, Ike's D-Air, new jab, Flare Blade animation is brand new (not OG Marth's). He's strong and he's pretty damn fast.

New patch is out, I hope they release patch notes (not likely) so we can see if there were any concrete Shulk changes.

You know you got hit with a Forward Vision when Shulk dashes straight toward you and slices, instead of the step back/slash it normally does. If you hold forward on the stick while doing a successful Vision it does the alternate version which is MUCH more powerful.

Buster is risky but really good. I'm finding that I like Speed a lot too, people suddenly go deer in the headlights when Shulk's normal leisurely pace turns into an Olympic sprint with a lightsaber aimed at their face.

Yeah, Shulk is legit. Gonna take time to get really good with him due to the constant battlefield awareness needed to use Monado Arts effectively but he's damn good when you use him correctly.

The "if it connects" being the lame part when Fox and Falco can just do it no matter what now. That's how it should be IMO.
