    PPMD's Falco Discussion Thread

Shine hitbox has a much better hitbox on the backside of falco. In the front hitting Shine OOS is nigh impossible if your opponent space properly. plus if you have your back facing the opponent, you can also opt for AC bair OOS if you don't think shine will connect.

This is soooo good especially for someone like me that enjoys the corner

    PPMD's Falco Discussion Thread

So we all know optimizing falco has to start with throws mainly because getting grabs is so important and kind of easy for falco, we need to know what we can get out of them. I think mid to high percent is really the only time it's applicable but I think tech chasing with fthrow can be better...

    Q&A Falco Q&A

I've noticed that mango WD down in place and then quickly (very quickly) reacts to DI and chooses where to go from there, usually extending the pillar or going for a DI mix up and ending the combo early. That's on stages with platforms tho, On FD I see him WD forward more, I assume because your...

angled up is a decent anti air tho. and angled down it can seriously gimp some characters that have difficulty sweet spotting

so after a couple tourneys I've determined that you have to play charizard kinda slow and read heavy. I love the play style to be honest. Zard doesn't really have that many true combos outside of Bthrow -> Follow up and Jab1-2 -> UpB so I've gone to playing him like a grappler and edgegaurd...

Here is a long smashfest wizzy streamed, I played on it a little throughout but I'm more interested in you guys looking at 3:20:00 and on, there I think I played pretty well, sans some technical mistakes. It's really hard as a newer player vs. really good players because they punish so hard...

    Ledgesnap guarding

I feel like the endlag on weak knee would be too much, you'd end up getting counter hit. At best weak knee hits and then they use their double jump

    Ledgesnap Guarding

thats why the video says to use moves with long lasting hitboxes

    Ledgesnap Guarding

I recently came across this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQj-yakgh6M First thing that comes to mind is Fair because it last long and can drag the opponent down below the stage or stage spike with the strong hit. Bair might be too difficult because of how little bairs hitbox is out...
