Falcon Fox and Pika are definetely at the top of the list for the best combos. As far as relying on combos? Erm well every character needs to combo, I'm not sure if anyone specifically relies more on combos than others because at high-end play if you can't combo with your character you're kinda...

Yeh when I do it you sorta roll your thumb over, you're barely moving your thumb at all when you perform it if you're doing it right.

Yeh I usually shield with L and WD out with X + R.
