  • It's strange how much certain reviewers are raking Battle for Bikini Bottom across the coals. I've only played the first two hours or so, but I really don't get much of the critiques brought up in these reviews. The difficulty complaints seem the most baffling, seeing how I was able to beat the original as a six-year old who had never completed a game up until that point.

Haven't played the remaster yet but it's good to hear that fans of the original are enjoying it. It's the first console game I ever owned (was a gift) so this is probably the most hype I'll have for a new game all year. lol

Same, ---. Except in my case it was the first game I ever owned, period. As for the difficulty complaints, which I'm admittedly surprised about...I guess some of these people just don't know how to play a classic platformer like BFBB. "Shrug"

In any case, yeah, the original the game means something to me, and I'm positive I'll enjoy playing the remaster. Gotta get it ASAP.
I'm thinking about picking up some new games to help make social distancing a little more bearable. Any recommendations?

It's hard to make recommendations when I don't know what you've played or what systems you have, but have you played Dragon Quest XI? The Switch eShop (I'm assuming that you have a Switch; correct me if I'm wrong) has a free demo that lasts 8-10 hours and lets you carry your progress over to the full game.

Using Smash Bros. might help; you can look through the roster for characters that you aren't familiar with and try those games out. (assuming that they're available for download on a system that you own)

Lil question: Is your name a reference to something? Reminds me of a certain naming scheme from one of my obscure card game anime.
