it might be too late now but check this out:

open your iso, doubleclick the battlefield dat to get it open in the texture tree, select the third texture from the top (offset= 0x34e40), click on the properties tab on the right, click on one of the 4 little trees, the two colors you want to change are at the very bottom stored as hex values...

with the dat texture wizard.

it's the lance color structure of 0x34e40

bottom is a gimp texure fill standard (walnut I think, not sure though), tree and flowers are handmade pixelart, BG is a free stockpic I found somewhere, the dedede and other critters are just scaled down images of the real thing, rest is just recolors of the original textures. it's hard to not...
