underrated bowser jr. recovery ( how to with a video link )

Game Versions
Smash 3DS, Smash Wii U
So, bowser Jr. as we know has been quite a uncommon character in the smash community. Most people criticizing him for his terrible moves. While his moves are terrible, his recovery has been decent in this game. but your able to improve his recovery using a exploit that is like link/toon links bomb spin. lets recap incase you don't know..
link/toon link can hold on to his bomb, or down special projectile, when you first bring it up. by waiting a bit, then doing your horizontal recovery ( 2 jumps, hero's spin ) the bomb will explode, which allows you to use hero's spin once again successfully.
Now, a bit of history for this exploit. When smash for the wiiu was first released, there was a glitch where bowser Jr. would glitch out. The first part of the glitch became a exploit to reach higher places. Yet, as ive watched " reach this horizontally " or a bowser Jr. players, ive never seen this used. In tournaments, this is fine, because it takes so long to setup and you have to plan accordingly. With that said, lets get into this guide.
first, use bowser Jr.'s down special to launch the very very useless mechakoopa, and grab it as quick as possible. The timing is hard on this part, but i will say after a certain time, proceed to jump 2 times then use bowser Jr.'s upspecial, and if you did it correctly, the mechakoopa will explode, and you can press A and use another up special.
now, this may not seen so special or good, its just a clone of the link's bomb exploit, how is it good? well, lets take villagers recovery as a example. Villager, for a quick recap, has the best horizontal recovery in the game. Bowser Jr. does not beat this, but he comes pixels behind. i did a test on a stage i custom made to see who would be higher, and even though villager was higher, when i originally did it without zooming in when i recorded the footage, looked tied. So, this means this exploit, though still useless in competitive play, is generally the same exact height as villagers recover.
i know this was short, but i hope this will help some people looking to show some stuff of to your friends. If you ever get this to work on a competitive match, send me the footage ASAP.
