In Normal Matches
Egg Throw - In normal matches, it's a good idea to really use the Up-B Yoshi's Egg throw. Its great because you can aim it and does good damage. It's good for spacing and it actually a good way to recover. It also knocks back a fair amount and this can lead to combos. A lot of other good ways to use the Egg Throw is against characters who like to be close up because even if they get close you can aim the eggs forward. Eggs can also be used for Fake Outs. Like using it to make people think you're going to throw an egg at them. If you press up-b then hold back Yoshi will throw the egg upwards. This can trip up opponents. But specifically if you're playing against Little Mac; they like to edge guard by charging Neutral-B. With Yoshi's Egg Throw you can fake them out when you're close to the ground, since it gives you a lot of horizontal momentum. and keeps you in the air for a good time. It can also rack up damage pretty fast.
Up Smash - Another good way to set up because it's usually not expected. I usually use Egg Throw to slowly get up close, then if I'm close enough and the egg hits, i dash cancel up smash. It's surprisingly easy with Yoshi. So, Egg Throw, Dash cancel up smash. this could set up for a kill if they aren't at a high enough percentage to get killed outright by the up smash.
Up Air - Like I said, if the up smash doesn't kill, the up air will. If their percentage gets up to 90-110 after an up smash, and you hit the up air, it will kill. And from anywhere, it's a guaranteed kill at roughly 130-140 percent. Up air is a great way to finish someone off after dash canceled up smash or even a good down throw.
Down Air - An amazing way to rack up damage early in the match. A well placed down air after a short hop will rack up 30 percent. Use this twice and you've got a good 60 percent on your opponent. From here you can start spacing out with Egg Throws, forcing your opponent to have to come in for you to do either grabs or up smashes to set up for an up air kill.
Forward Air - A nice way to spike if you can time it correctly. I don't use it as much because of up air.
Back Air - A nice way to keep opponents from taking action if you miss an up air after an up smash or down throw. Helps you get the kill by giving you space to try again.
Custom Matches
Lick - The only good custom move I found (so far) is the Neutral B custom move lick. It does 13 percent and amazing knock back. Can kill at about 130 - 140 (at the edges of the maps)

I'll add more tactics as I play more with Yoshi and experiment with moves and whatnot.
