R.O.B, from robotic operating buddy to fighting machine

R.O.B, from robotic operating buddy to fighting machine

Game Versions
Smash 3DS, Smash Wii U
R.O.B is one of the more overlooked charecters in the smash bros universe, yet he is very good if you know how to use him. This is a beginners/intermidiate guide to turn your Robotic operating Buddy into the terminator.

Pros
Has a move that can reflect projectiles
Up and Side smashes KO early
Very reliable recovery, can go from one end of FD to the other
Tilts are faster and do more damage

Cons
Heavy
Prone to Juggling
Slow up b could leave him prone to spiking

Moves
Neutural b- Fires a laser, the range is based on the charge, it goes across the stage and does 17 % at full charge, goes about halfway across the stage and does 11% at mid-charge, and at no charge it goes right in front of R.O.B and does 7%

Side b- R.O.B spins, reflecting all projectiles, some notable ones: villager's tree, villager's bowling ball, samus's charge shot, does 11%, good way to approach players spamming projectiles.

Up b- Uses his Robo Burner and goes up, can go from one edge of FD to another, somewhat slow, could be prone to spiking

Down b- shoots a top, can be charged, the top does 11% on impact, you can throw it at the opponent to do 7%, it does 2% if the opponent touches it, can be used to punish rolls

Pummel- Hits the opponent, 3% per hit

Up throw- goes up and slams his opponent into the ground, Ko's reliably at 150%

D throw- uses burners on to the opponent, launches them up, can be comboed

S throw-throws the opponent to the side

B throw- throws the opponent to the opposite side

Up smash- Uses his Robo-burner, KOs reliably at 85% charged, 119% uncharged

Side smash- Fires a laser, KOs reliably at 88% charged, 141% uncharged

Down smash- Spins around, Kos reliably at 114% charged, 166% uncharged

Up air- spins his arms vertically, does 10%, KOs reliably at 135%

Side air- swings his arm, does 7%

Back air- uses his roboburner, does 12%, Kos reliably at 134%

Down air- does 11%, can meteor smash if hit with at the very beggining

Neutural air - does 8%

Tilts

Up tilt- raises his arms, 3% a hit

Down tilt- hits the ground 5% a hit

Basic Combos
Down throw into Up air into Back air

Down throw into Up air into forward air (easier)

Forward throw into dash attack into Robobeam

Up air into back air, uhhh no
While most dislike this because its telling percents, it tells what the other 2 don't. And all of these combo strings can be done at the right percents.
Wow. If wanted data I would've went to the Smash Wiki. 0/8 m8.
Just data, a pretty poor guide
Instead of being an intructional guide on how to play a character, this is just a list of inputs. Also, some of the combos in the combo section are just strings impossible to pull off against people.
I mean this isnt a guide so much as data, you don't have any like playstyle advice just what the various inputs do. I would like to see a section on R.O.B. strategy but this is a start.
