So your having trouble getting to the combo's with luigi? Well this guide is just for you. This guide will be going over many of luigi's combo set ups. There may be more than you think.
First off, lets get the obvious out of the way:
Fireball-good for setting up combos if you can suprise your opponent with it
Falling nuetral air-pops the opponent up in a great position giving you almost as many follow ups as the down throw.
Now that thats out of the way, lets get on to the real guide shall we?
Ifs there's anything you might not know right off the bat, luigi's shot hop down air at extremely low percentages can set up into a neutral air. This is a great set up for a grab as with most of his set ups though don't expect it to work on floaty characters.
If you can manage to land an up air while landing, thats an easy set up for a grab (it might be a legit combo.)
Jab Jab Grab. 'nough said.
At higher percentages, if you can sweet spot an up air above stage from a full hop, you can get a potential nuetral air. This is mostly done from a down throw though.
Down throw double fair sheild is usefull as a set up for another grab at low percentages.
Down throw-you just baited an air dodge congrats have another down throw
Up tilt can set up for a grab or up smash at lower percentages as well as more up tilts and can set up for an up air at higher percentages.
Down tilt is usually a good set up for almost anything like the other 2 brothers. though this has a more likely chance of getting another down tilt.
Ledge down throw is good for getting a few fairs and maybe a couple of up airs if not another fair.
First hit of down smash is ok for setting up into a bair or up smash
I know its short but thats about all I can think of. What are your setups with luigi if they are not listed on here?
