Several drills to practice with diddy kong which will engrain muscle memory of his confirms. Specifically focusing on dtilt confirms, banana confirms, and autocancel timings.
Diddy Kong drills intended to help solo practice this character. Goes through many confirms that can be somewhat easy to mess up but can net victory if done perfectly. Also goes through practice of moves and timings that are just necessary to being a good diddy.
Dtilt to fair is a strong option that is fairly easy to follow up on. Can sometimes connect at mid percents and is a guaranteed combo at high percents and can also kill near the ledge. Close spaced dtilt connects best but it’s typically better to space it out. There’s a trick later that can allow for spaced dtilt into it though.
Dtilt to fair on Jigglypuff: Ten times from 40% to 140%
Dtilt to fair on G&W: Ten times from 70% to 140%
Dtilt to fair on Peach: Ten times from 60% to 140%
Dtilt to fair on Lucario: Ten times from 60% to 140%
Dtilt to fair on Greninja: Ten times from 125% to 180%
Dtilt to fair on Ganondorf: Ten times from 80% to 180%
Dtilt to bair can also kill at the ledge. But at a much earlier percent. Remember that if they are already at 140 and you have rage just go for fair instead as it has a lesser technical requirement and will still net the kill in most cases.
Dtilt to bair on Jigglypuff: Ten times from 75% to 150% (Doesn’t work well on lightweights.

Far distance side b from the ledge: (Smash the control stick to the side when doing the move. Increased distance.) 15 times.

Sliding Far distance side b from the ledge onto stage into dtilt(At platform height off or on the stage Smash the control stick to the side when pressing b. If done right diddy kong will be sliding with momentum) : 15 times. (Extra mile: from the dtilt connect with dsmash, fsmash, up smash, or fair. The sliding extends the window to get the kill off these confirms by up to twenty percent.)
Sliding Far distance side b from the ledge onto stage into reverse crawl(At platform height off or on the stage Smash the control stick to the side when pressing b. As SOON as he touches the ground roll your control stick back from side to bottom to side again. If done right Diddy will reverse momentum and from here can run back in from a grab. Excellent bait, especially if you have gotten a kill off the sliding one mentioned above.): 15 times
AutoCancel aerials: (For all of these either go directly into the next repetition or dash, grab, or shield. Extra mile: Go through them in order once each and then do that twenty five times total instead.)
Short hop fair: 25 times both directions.
