Well I for one liked it a and found it helpful. Not much much I haven't read other places, but what I haven't read somewhere else gave me a few ideas.

My suggestions for making this guide more readable, don't sound so discouraged. Sure there are other guides, but this is YOUR guide, you don't need to explain why your posting it. Put a table of contents at the top so people can ctrl+find the sections quickly and break it up a little with pictures or screen caps that show an example of what you're talking about.
