Welcome to Who's Your Pappy's 4. This time with a clean Singles and Doubles tournament. We'll be building up from all the working parts from previous Pappys events, Dedicated Friendlies, Food from the venue for all venue payers, Awesome Stream Viewing Area, Good Parking (because no UCBerkeley Events), All Ages Tournament, and the Pappy's Attendance bonus we are famous for, each 15 attendees (after the first 30) adds $50 to the Pot. Bracket pools are in effect and look out for more surprises coming down the line. The next tournament in Rock, Paper, Smashville is now!!!!

There are 2 Registration Dates again:
From now until September 19th at 11:59:59PM the Venue Fee is $10 Venue.
On September 20th, Venue goes up to $15.
The registration deadline here on Smash.gg is at 11:59 PM September 23th (Friday before).
There is NO onsite registration this Pappy's!!! So make sure you register on time!!!

Setup - Bring a a full setup get all venue waived. Bring a half setup and get half venue waived. Must be contacted to receive waiver and you must let us use it until top 8 singles begins.

Payout (Payouts below are based on 96+ for Singles and 32+ for Doubles, different numbers will change payouts but they will be changed no later than 9/24 12:00AM)
Doubles Top 4 Payout (Only if more than 32 Teams):
1st: 57.5%
2nd: 23.5%
3rd: 9%
4th: 5%
Singles Top 12 Payout (Only if more than 96 Attendees):
1st: 45.5%
2nd: 25.5%
3rd: 8%
4th: 6%
5-6th: 4%
7-8th: 2%
9-12th: 1%

Singles/Doubles Rules (Doubles is just 3 stock, 8 minutes instead)
Game Settings: 2 stock, 6 minute timer, items off, equipment off. Customs set to off. Amiibos are not allowed.
Double Elimination Tournament, best 2/3 games, Winners Semi, Losers Final, Winners Final, and Grand Finals will be best 3/5 games. TO reserves the decision to change that to 2/3 games based on time remaining. (Choice being made before top 8 begins)

All Omega stages are banned.
*If Battlefield is banned, Miiverse is banned as well.
Stage Selection: First game, stage is chosen by the players striking from the Starters list (1-2-1). The Player 1 who makes the first strike is chosen by Rock/Paper/Scissors. Player 2 then strikes two stages of the ones remaining. Then Player 1 strikes one of the remaining two stages effectively selecting the stage for Game 1.
For game 2 and 3, the winner of the previous round bans 1 stage from the available stages left and the loser of the previous round picks from the stages not banned.
Winner is not stuck to the same character but must pick before the loser of the previous match (This is after stage has been selected).
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
Suicide Clause: On the onset of a SD KO move initiated, the winner is decided by the results screen.
Tiebreaker Clause: In the event of a non-self destruct Sudden Death, winner is decided by most stock, followed by least percentage, when time was reached. If players had the same stock and percentage, players will play out a 1 stock 3 minute match to decide the victor.
Miis are allowed, but must be default size. All move sets are allowed.

). Street Parking is free on Sundays in this area.

No outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue.
