Smash Cadet
A NEOH-PGH weekly/monthly. The venue fee collected during each week will go towards a pot bonus for singles at the last week of the month. The entry/venue fee will also be larger on the last week.
Run by James Sedoris (Mudo). Contact me on Facebook or by phone (330-206-6794) if you have questions or think you'll be late, but be warned, it can be REALLY difficult to get service once inside the mall, so please try and contact me early if you can.
ADDRESS:
Carnation City Mall, 2500 W State St, Alliance, OH 44601
WEBSITE:

RULES:
-If we don't finish before the mall closes (and we never do) you have to take the movie theater exit in the back of the mall. Plan accordingly.
-Please mind your language while you're in the mall. Kids come into the venue all the time, and it reflects pretty badly both on the venue and the Smash community if we're screaming the F-bomb at the top of our lungs. That being said, once the Mall closes around 9:00, say whatever the Hell you want, Taz's doesn't care.
-There will be Yu-Gi-Oh! being played at the same time as Smash. They're good folks and have never complained about us before, so let's keep it that way and make sure not to interrupt their event. The most important thing is to leave them space in the room with all the tables. Please refrain from setting up there or making a commotion in that room.
-You are allowed to bring drinks and food into the venue, but please throw your trash away when done with it. There is not quicker way to get on Taz's bad side than by making a mess.
-Bring setups. If you do, and actually set it up, it will waive your venue fee.
Also, bring your own controllers! I usually have a few extras, but they are HORRIBLE.
FEES & PAYOUTS:
-Weekly
$2 Venue fee (waived with setup)
$2 Entry fee
$4 Per team
If time allows I'll try to throw in a $1 side bracket now and again, so keep your eyes on Facebook for that
-Monthly
$5 Venue fee (waived with setup)
$5 Entry fee
$10 per team
- Payout will be 60-30-10 unless there is an especially high or especially low turnout.
SCHEDULE:
Sign-ups: 5:30 - 6:00 for doubles. The deadline for singles is 7:00.
MELEE RULES:
Stage Striking - 1/2/1
Singles Stages:
Neutral Stages - Dreamland 64 // Final Destination // Battlefield // Fountain of Dreams // Yoshi's Story
Counterpick Stage - Pokemon Stadium
Doubles Stages:
Pokemon Stadium // Dreamland 64 // Battlefield // Final Destination // Yoshi's Story
