The Hit Box is our biweekly Smash 4 tournament series in Grand Rapids! The cost will be $5 total, $2 venue fee and $3 straight to the prize pool. This has been an excellent way to generate friendly competition within our own scene, and we hope to see increasing attendance from talented players or even those just getting into the scene!

Registration will open at 6:00PM and the bracket will begin at 7:00 PM sharp.

We will be running our Calder Clash ruleset, which can be found below.

Quick question. I'm fairly new to Michigan and the tournament scene but this event is so close to where I live that I want to attend. What kind of turnout are you expecting for this event and besides my own controller and the entry fee, am I required to bring anything else? Thanks.

West Michigan is fairly small in terms of our overall population and player base we can draw from, though we've got some very great talent here. Depending on how my advertising went, we could be seeing about roughly 20 some people to show up. Are you part of our Michigan Smash 4 Facebook groups by chance?

This coming weekly on Thursday on the 17th will be a doubles exclusive after running singles back to back for several weeks in a row just so you know.
