Smash On Sight 4
Whats up everyone! Ok Ok i know this announcement is pretty quickly but its for the best so all of you can get a decent amount of practice in. Well without further a do, Smash On Sight 4 is officially a thing now! Since the raffle drawing went so well we will be doing it again and trust me you're not gonna wanna miss this one. Oh and guess what, we're bringing back a side event! What i've noticed is that when melee is going on, the non-melee players tend to just be there and get down on friendlies which is good, BUT i was wondering what could they be doing while melee is going on and it hit me! Side event! Smash On Sight will host its very first Amiibo tournament!!! That's right, an amiibo tournament! 1v1 of course and the best part is, there's no limit to how powerful you can make the little guy. More details below.
Venue
Dora Roberts Community Center (The Classroom) also because the venue is private property instead of a public place of gathering, unfortunately I will have to receive a venue fee for everyone who enters, even spectators. Sorry guys
Schedule
12 p.m. - Registration & Friendlies
1 p.m. - Melee Doubles/Amiibo tournament
2:30 p.m. Melee Singles
4 p.m. - Lunch Break
5 p.m. - SM4SH doubles/Raffle
6:30 p.m - SM4SH singles
(If you do show up anytime before an event starts you may still register for it for those of you who may show up late)
Event Fees
Venue Fee - $5
Singles - $5
Doubles - $10 ($5 per player)
Amiibo tournament - $2
Setups
We're going to need as many setups as possible! I can't stress enough how important this is. A full setup consists of a TV, console, and game. Analog TVs (aka CRTS) will work best for Melee (along with Gamecubes and wiis) and HDTVs will be perfect for Sm4sh. This will be a Bring Your Own Controller event as well so try not to come empty handed. Also if you bring a setup you will receive a discount on your venue fee. If you are bringing a setup for Sm4sh for Wii U we will only be using systems that have all the characters unlocked to try to come prepared

Amiibo:
Rules for Sm4sh also apply to Amiibo tournament
1 amiibo per player
Player must use the same Amiibo for the entire tournament.
Amiibo can have any custom moves and be tweaked however the owner wants, no rules on that part, they can be as OP as possible, the only way to combat that is with another OP amiibo
Additional Info
I will add a stage selection procedure paper with each setup for those who need it. Feel free to leave to get food but only do so during the break or if you're not playing. If you do not show up 5 minutes after your match is being called, it will result in a loss so choose your timing wisely. Outside food or drink is allowed. Not responsible for any lost or damaged material and once again this is a BYOC event so you are responsible for providing your own controller.
