Atlantic South Smash Fight Club 24! Doubles and Singles

Welcome to Smash Fight Club!

The premiere Houston Smash 4 weekly, the SFC series is now at its 24th event!

There will not be a stream (yet), however we WILL record sets and upload them just like previous SFCs onto the Smash United youtube channel! So come on down and get your match put onto youtube!

What is different about SFC? Nothing much, just that it is following the TGC stagelist (and 7 minute time limit) since TGC is the following week. (This means more legal stages)

THE VENUE:

The Heights Bar!
A very spacious central Houston bar that is more than happy to have us come in and play smash.

Hours: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
(Opens 4 hours earlier than its usual 5pm time for the tournament)

No outside food or drink allowed. (Besides water bottles)
Please be respectful of the venue and eat food outside.
If you need a break to leave to get food mid bracket, ask first if you have time or you risk getting disqualified.

SCHEDULE:

1:00 p.m. - The Smash United Team begins setting up
1:30 p.m. - 1v1 and 2v2 registration begins
2:00 p.m. - 2v2 Tournament begins
3:30 p.m. - 1v1 Tournament begins

Event Fees

$5 Venue fee
(waived for bringing a TV+Wii U+Sm4sh+GC Adapter with everything needed unlocked) Wii U must be updated to current format

$5 per person 2v2

RULESET

1v1

Neutrals:

- BattleField/Miiverse (meaning if you strike one, you strike both)
- Smashville
- Town and City
- Lylat Cruise
- Final Destination

Counterpicks:


- DreamLand 64
- Castle Siege
- Delfino Plaza
- Halberd
- SkyLoft
- Kongo Jungle 64
- Duck Hunt
- Peach's Castle 64
- Any Omega (striking this also strikes FD)


Stage Striking Order:
1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 all the way down to the last stage for the first pick.
3 bans out of the total stagelist for the winner of each round.

3 stocks
7 minute time limit
Items set to "Off" and "None"
Team attack ON in doubles
Equipment is banned
Custom moves are banned
Pausing results in a stock loss, unless it is for the opposing player's controller malfunction.
