Smash Rookie
On Saturday October 17 Metro Entertainment will be hosting a Smash 4 wii u tournament. It is a small comic book shop in Santa Barbara, CA. The time is from 5PM- 9PM. Our city doesn't really have a location that runs tournaments so I talked to the shop and they agreed to let us have a tournament. If all goes well I will try to find bigger locations to have the tournaments. Since this is my first time running a tournament advice would greatly help if you go. The shop was nice enough to let us run a tournament so all i ask is you respect the shop.

*Small issue is going to be that the parking lot is the cities and charges. (First 75 minutes free though!)
The tournament will be having both singles and doubles with a fee of $5 for each. (cash only)
Singles (two stock, and 6 mins.) will be best of 3 until finals/grand finals which will be best of 5
Doubles (3 Stock, and 8 mins.) will be best of 3 until finals/grand finals which will be best of 5
There will be no sudden deaths. lower percentage wins if on the same stock
Top 3 players get cash prizes from the pot
*1st place 60% of pot payout
2nd place 30% of pot payout
3rd place 10% of pot payout
We will have two systems running with all DLC.
Customs and Mii's are banned from tournament
I am doing my best to learn Challonge as I want things to run smoothly and so brackets can be available to players
Be sure to bring your own controller. We advise you to not bring wireless as a connection problem could cause you a stock or the game.
If a player pauses mid-game it will lead to a loss of a stock or the game
