I'm very new to these boards and apologize if the image is not allowed as I did read the terms of use I was trying to make sure I posted in the right area. Hoping all of you come to this shop and show competitors where you really are and how good you are! Come show others what you've got would love to see more crazy battles at these events! :D

So hey, quick questions:
1. Time frame states thursday noon till saturday midnight, but it's a Friday event w/registration 4:30-6:30; is this because time/day may change in the future given schedule restrictions?
2. How long has this weekly been running?
3. How many entrants have shown up at previous events?
4. Do you need setups? If so, is there a waiver for tournament/event fee?
5. I noticed there is an event fee but no tournament fee listed; is there just the event entry fee?
I come from a small smash group based in Jackson of about 3-5 semi-competitive players interested in building a scene here in Jackson, but we were hoping to gain some tournament experience first. We're hoping to try and bridge the gap between larger MI Smash groups and would like to eventually provide another small opportunity for smashers frequenting tournaments such as this one. Let me know answers to the above and we'll try to carpool out to these events as often as possible.

Hey, Naroghin. I am/was one of the regulars to this event and
1. I've only ever seen Friday be the time of the tournament
2. from what I've seen it's been running since summer
3.about 8 to 20 is what I guess be the amount of entrants at each tournament.
4. Not sure.
5. I don't believe there to be a tournament fee, at least there wasn't last time I went, which was about 2 months ago.

I went to this tonight, it was my first tournament. 
Had a lot of fun. I couldn't speak more highly of Marcus and Mario tbh, they're awesome. There are some younger players, but even they can kick older people's asses and it's so great to see people excited about the game, seriously. everyone was sportsmanlike and pleasant that I played, couldn't have asked for better.
I had no idea what it was going to be like going in, but personally will probably either play my not-main in the future and/or aim for other events.
I am very awful with names but uhhh shoutouts especially to the kids and (man I'm sorry) the guy I played for finals and bought the Sylveon plush.

I know it says registration from 4:30 - 6:30, but what time does it actually start? Is there an advantage going at 4:30 to register as opposed to 6:30?

Okay, still a total smashboards noob, and am not familiar with things, if I do this, it starts at 4:30, but can I go there anytime, before it ends (obviously) or do I have to be there at exactly 4:30? this would be my first tournament if I do it
