Nerdfighters presents the official competitive Super Smash Bros. tournament series for the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Hosted by Smaaaash Attack, we are the definitive competitive fighting game biweekly for Westmoreland County.

[What's New?]
For this tournament, we at Team SMAK heard your suggestions and have begun to integrate them into our next biweekly event. These changes will include the following:
(1) Controller Rentals
If you forget to bring your controller, or simply do not have one on you at the event, do not fear! At the registration desk, simply ask one of our crew members to borrow a controller. They will have you fill out some information, and in exchange for a form of identification (license, school ID, etc), they will lease you a GameCube controller to use for the event.
Before you leave, make sure to bring the same GameCube controller back to the registration desk. There, you will return the controller, and receive back your form of ID.
The best part? Controller rentals are absolutely free. Please be responsible with our controllers, however, as if any damages are done, the borrower will be held accountable for charges.
(2) Doubles is here!
The most requested suggestion by far was having doubles as a part of our events. So, they're here! Last week was an exception, and from here on out, our biweeklies will always feature both a singles and a doubles bracket.
(3) MELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
That's right! Our side event for this week will be Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube. This game will be featured in a singles only bracket. Please bring setups if you would like to enter this tournament!
(4) Match Reporting
We've ironed out the way in which you will be able to report the results of your sets. First, look for anybody wearing a UPG landyard with a special TeamSMAK ID on it. These people will enter your matches and update the bracket. Secondly, you may simply report your matches to the person working at the registration desk. Both methods will be acceptable.
[Other Events]
We will have extra televisions on the right side of the venue. If you have any game consoles and party games, including video games, board games, or card games, please bring them! Once the tournaments are offer, the venue will remain open. Feel free to hang out, grab some food, and chill! Make some new friends, and have a fun time. That's what it's all about!
