SHEQUINOX 3, our 2nd "Spring" Equinox Smash event, will take place April 23-24 at our own venue, where we have held the the past 2 event. This time thou, we will be implementing a 80 entrant cap on singles and 24 on doubles, in order to ensure efficiently run pools/brackets and finish in a timely manner.
Here are some of the things Shequinox 3 will offer:
-2-Day event with Singles, Doubles for all Games
-All games begin and end on the same day!
*GRADUATED POT-BONUS!
For EACH Singles Brackets!
$50 - 32+ entrants
$75 - 48+ entrants
$100 - 64+ entrants
$200 - 80 (cap) entrants
Payout:
up to 32 entrants - Top 3 - 60/30/10
33-64 entrants - Top 4 - 55/30/10/5
65-up entrants - Top 6 - 55/25/10/5/2.5/2.5
-Doubles payout schedule:
-Under 12 teams - Top 2 65/35
-12 or more teams - Top 3 60/30/10

11:00pm - Smash 4 Doubles
2:00pm - Smash 4 Singles Pools 1-4 (top 3 advance)
4:00pm - Smash 4 Sinlges Pools 5-8 (top 3 advance)
6:00pm - Smash 4 Singles Top 24
Note: Bracket-pools will be used.
Note 2: IF under 64 entrants, TO may choose to implement a "straight bracket"

-We will be offering opportunities to "commentate" during the course of this event. Please see Johnny or Pat if you think you got the goods.
-There will be opportunities for friendlies before, during and after active tournament brackets, depending on available setups. We will of course, do our best to maximize access to setups for friendlies during this 2 day event!
