This is the second event in the San Antonio’s Deadliest Gamer series hosted by the San Antonio College Gaming Society! The tournament starts at 2pm in the Loftin Student Center on October 27th 2015!

Come down and witness some of the best Smash players San Antonio has to offer!! The event is free to attend! Pizza and drinks will be sold at the event so don’t worry if you forgot your lunch! The tournament is open to anyone who wants to attend! So bring your friends if they want to fight or even if they just want to watch! It’s going to be an epic tournament!!

FOR FIGHTERS: There is a $3 entry fee for all fighters that will, after the house cut, be used to determine the prize pool for the top 3 (or more depending on how many attend) fighters in a 60/30/10 cut!! There will also be other prizes for the top fighters! It will be a single elimination event with 2 brackets, one for those who can be there at 2pm and another for those who cannot be there at 2pm. (email me if you cannot make the 2pm time sacgamingsociety@gmail.com) Again the event is open to anyone so even if you do not attend SAC or any of the Alamo Colleges you can still participate! We want this tournament to be as big as we can make it!!

**This is the first Smash tournament we have hosted in the clubs history so while I feel I have provided all the necessary info I could always be wrong! So if there is anything you want to know or even any advice you could give us in hosting this tournament it would be greatly appreciated!!**

Sup man. I go to UTSA and I'm a regular with the smash community here. Some info that you might want to provide:

What time does the venue open?

How many setups do you have, and do they have GC adapters? Also, always tell people to bring their setups. Always.

Ruleset. 2 stock? 3 stock (please yes)? Customs (please no)? Stage list, time limit, etc.

Here's the SA smash 4 thread. Our ruleset is in one of the OPs I believe. http://smashboards.com/threads/san-antonio-smash-4-thread.371315/

The rest if this info is for future reference, since it'd be kinda late to change this one. I don't know where you got the "before 2 and after 2 brackets" idea, but you might want to consider just having one double elimination bracket that starts on time. Also, why is there a "house cut"? Usually referred to as "venue fee" since I'm guessing they're the same thing, but you should specify how much that "cut" is. $3 is pretty low for payouts if you're taking away from it. But hey, this is your first attempt so it's not too bad. There's just a lot more to keep in mind if you want to keep your smashers happy. See you tomorrow :)
