Well since there aren't that many Smash tournaments in Ohio, I thought it be neat to start hosting my own local tournaments. Wanna attempt to make this a bi-weekly event when I don't have to work so following me on Twitter is the best way to be updated on these tournaments. Anyone of skill levels is welcome to participate in these, most of the time there will be two setups provided at the very least.

--------------Registration & House Rules-------------
Venue Fee: $5 or if you bring a setup FREE (TV, the game with all characters unlocked, and a Nintendo Switch)
Schedule: 3:00pm friendlies & Registration 3:30pm Cut off time for registration 3:35pm Bracket Begins 7:00pm shop closes.
We wouldn't really want kids here but anyone 14 and up can sign up.
There is kind of a tight schedule and we hope to wrap it up around 7, so gonna try our best to not waste time.
When entering the store the door to the right will be where the tournament is being held, I will have a sign on the door.
Snacks and drinks are being sold on the left side of the building just speak to a guy named Paul.
Okay to be salty but don't really get into it or you could be thrown out.
Cleanup after yourself, keep drinks away from hardware and outside food is allowed.
Grand Finals will be recorded and uploaded to my YouTube channel with possible commentary/camera recordings if you don't like that I can cover your face.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------Tournament Rules--------------
Game Rules: 3 Stock, 7 Minutes. No Items, No Hazards, Best of 3 Till Grand Finals Then Best of 5.
Single Elimination Bracket.
Amiibos are banned.
Bring your own controllers/adapters.
Miis are legal only with the 1111 movesets, we will have them made before the bracket starts.
Not being at your station within 3 minutes will cause you to forfeit the set point.
Pausing for any reason besides controller visually unplugged will cause you to forfeit the set point.
Stages will be selected first.
Stage striking will be used, players before a set will do rock, paper, scissors to decide the order. Winner strikes out the first stage then the second player will strike two more stages, the first player will then pick what stage to fight on for that match. The winner of the match can swap out characters before the loser finishes swapping out his character, then the winner will ban one more stage, finally, the second player will pick the stage from the remaining list. Repeat final step till the set is over.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------Stage List----------

Hey how well did this go over? I live in central Ohio and would like to set up local events regularly.
