Tournament Match Procedure (singles and doubles):
1. Select Characters (Double-Blind picks are allowed)
2. Play Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine, or agree on who will get the first stage strike. The players will then proceed to ban the starter stages in a 1-2-1 order. The player with the first strike will ban one stage, the next player will ban two stages, and then the first player will once again ban one stage. Game one is played on the remaining stage.
3. The first game is played.
4. The winner of the first game may ban 3 stages (1 in Melee).
5. The loser may choose the next stage from the list of starter and counterpick stages that has not already been banned by the other player.
6. The winner selects their character.
7. The loser selects their character.
8. The next game is played.
9. Repeat steps 4-8 until the correct amount of games have been played to determine a winner.
