Saturday Melee at Nebulous Gaming
Game: Super Smash Bros Melee

Format:
Doubles is Double Elimination
Singles with be RR pools, into a DE bracket. We will run an amateur bracket (or more than one) as long as there is time + TOs
Ruleset: Standard Apex 2015 Ruleset, except DK 64 is not a legal counterpick for doubles.
Additional Clarifications: In a Bo3 set, when you ban a stage, it is banned for that game only. You are allowed to pick a stage game3 that you banned game2.
DSR Clarification: You may not go back to ANY stage you have won on in a set, without the agreement of your opponent.
Tie-Breaking: For RR pools, ties will be broken using the following: Set Count, Head to Head, Game Count. In the event of an unbroken tie under all 3 metrics, an OXY TieBreaker will be performed. This is a psuedo-RR where two of the players play using normal stage striking procedures for a Bo1. the winner stays seated, and the third player sits down. the first player to win two consecutive games wins the tie-breaker. after that, normal tie-breaking rules apply between the 2 players left.
Signups: Signups are on-site and the events do start on time. So if you are entering an event, make sure you are there are least 30 minutes before the event starts.

$5 Doubles per person
$1 Ladies' League
Schedule (may be tweaked, depending on entrant numbers):
12pm setup
1pm venue opens (TMG start)
1:45 SIGNUPS FOR DOUBLES CLOSE
2:00 doubles / TMG / Ladies' League and other side events if available (TMG, Ladies League, etc)
3:45 SIGNUPS FOR SINGLES CLOSE
4:00pm singles pools
6:00pm pro + am brackets
If you show up after the times listed for registration, you will not get to enter the events! No exceptions!
