FAQ:
----------
Q: Where is Gamer's World located?
A: Gamer's World is located inside of the Vernon Hills Hawthorn Mall, next to the Guess store on the upper-level Macy's side of the mall.

----------
Q: How do payouts work?

A:
***THERE ARE NO CASH PRIZES***

Unfortunately the mall will not let us give cash for prizes, as they see it as gambling. Instead, we will be giving out store credit to those who place high enough. Hopefully in the future this will change, but for now it's the best we can do.

The number of players determines the number of places for payout:
4 or less players = 100% to 1st
5-9 players = 70% to 1st, 30% to 2nd
10-20 players = 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 10% to 3rd
21+ players = 40% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd, 10% to 4th

----------
Q: What is the ruleset?
A: The bracket is double-elimination*
*If there's not enough people, it'll be a round robin instead.

The Legal stages are:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Yoshi's Story
Dreamland 64
Fountain of Dreams
Counterpick Stages:
Pokemon Stadium

All games are best of 3, except for Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals, which are best of 5.

Match Procedure:
1. Players select their characters.
2. Pokemon Stadium isn't available on Round 1.
3. Players play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Winner strikes 1 starter stage, loser strikes 2 more starter stages, and the winner picks between the 2 remaining stages.
4. Players play Round 1.
5. After Round 1, Pokemon Stadium is unlocked.
6. Winner of the round strikes 1 non-counterpick stage, loser picks any of the remaining stages.
7. Players play the next round.
8. After the next round, repeat step 6.

----------
Q: What's the food and drink policy?
A: Food and drinks are allowed, but please try not to spill. Also, please throw out your garbage when you're done with your food/drinks.

----------
Q: What about doubles?
A: Eventually, we would like to add a doubles bracket, but for now we are only running singles.

----------
Q: Can we play friendlies when we are not competing?
A: At the time, we only have 2 set-ups. Once Winners Finals are done, usually one setup opens up.
