Atlantic North Burnt Cheese: Broome County NY Wii U Singles/Doubles Tournament (Endicott, NY)

Welcome to the very first Burnt Cheese Broome County, NY local! Allow me to give some details:

- No entry fees or otherwise
- Singles and Doubles; Doubles start whenever singles end
- Complimentary refreshments provided
- Bring your own controller
- End time may vary
- Despite what the title may say, the date is May 28, not May 2. Accidently screwed up typing the date, my bad.


Doors open @ 11 AM, singles start at 12 PM

Rules
All are double elimination brackets.
Singles: 2 stock
6 minutes
Items off and on none
No equipment/customs (Aside from Mii specials)

Ties) 1. 1 stock, 3 minute tie breaker
2. If step 1 is a tie, 1 stock no time limit match
3. If step 2 is a tie, initiator of tie loses the game

- Best of 3 matches
- Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals are best of 5

Set Procedure:
1. Character selection
2. Stage strike 1-2-1
3. Play Game 1
4. Winning player announces ban stage for the set
5. Loser of previous match announces next match's stage
6. Winner of previous match chooses characters
7. Loser of previous match chooses characters
8. Play next game
9. Rinse and repeat 4-8 if set goes to a third game.

Doubles are 3 stock and 8 minutes with team attack on, all of the legal stages /striking rules, as well as the best of 3 with best of 5 Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals for singles apply to doubles.

Miis will be legal as Guests, with any specials, and a preset height and weight. However, please let me know what specials you want to use if you so desire so I can make the Miis ahead of time.

2nd = $75
3rd = $30

Doubles (prizes apply to each member of a pair): 1st = $75
2nd = $50
3rd = $25

Edit #2: 1st prize for singles now is the tablet and an added $50, while 1st prize for doubles is now $75 each.

Miis are legal as Guest. Just let me know what specials you want to use ahead of time so I can handle it. There will be a preset height/weight, though. Thanks for reminding me to add it to the ruleset.
