This tournament is open to all participants.
LOCATION:

SCHEDULE:
-12:00 AM Registration
-1:00 Melee/WiiU doubles registration ends and bracket begins
-4:00 Melee/Smash 4 SINGLES registration ends and bracket begins
-If the tournament does not end by 1 a.m., the remaining players will be issued a tie and be paid out equally
GUIDELINES:
-It is optional but encouraged to have a gamertag or alias to compete under
-Bring your own controller (controllers may be shared)
-Venue fee: $2 (will be waived if a full setup is brought*)
-Melee singles: $3
-Melee doubles: $3 per person
-Smash 4 doubles: $3 per person
-Smash 4 singles: $3
-Bracket or pools will be used depending on the number of entrants
-Payouts will be dependent on entrants - more entrants means more players in the top placings will be paid out and will be rewarded more
SMASH 4 RULESET:
-Items are set to off and none
-Pause and Handicap are disabled; Damage Ratio is 1.0
-2 stocks and 6 minute time limit for singles
-3 stocks, 8 minutes, Team Attack and Stock Sharing allowed for Doubles
-Sets are best of 3 games; best of 5 for Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals, and Grand Finals
-Customs and Equipment are turned off
-Mii Fighters are banned
-Amiibo are banned
-All Omega stages are banned
-First stage is decided by (Rock-Paper-Scissors) best of 1. Winner strikes from starters, then loser strikes twice from starters, then winner. (P1-P2-P2-P1)
-Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing. A new ban is required for each additional game; a stage does not remain banned for the whole set
-Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character
-Dave's Stupid Rule: A player cannot counterpick the last stage he/she won on unless mutually agreed to by both players
-You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list--both players will be disqualified
-Sudden Death with a tied percentage/stock count will NOT determine the outcome of a tied game; a playoff match with 1 stock/2 minutes will determine the winner
-There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles
