AN OCTOBER TO REMEMBER
We are proud to bring you the SEQUEL of Overlords of Orlando monthly series: OCTOBERLORDS!
This event will be hosted in Full Sail University's very own Hall of Fame VENUE!
As the new brand ambassador of EON I'm happy to continue to bring you Florida’s only CRT-FREE Melee Events! We will be using EON’s high-end lag-less HDMI adapter that is compatible with GameCubes to play on all gaming monitors!
This will be a one-day event featuring both Singles and Doubles for Ultimate and Melee.
We're very excited to bring you a $1,000 POT BONUS for Ultimate Singles and a $500 POT BONUS for Melee Singles!
Octoberlords will offer 24 setups for Ultimate and 16 setups for Melee. Extra setups are always encouraged so we can have all-day friendlies available for those who attend.
Finally, we'll be hosting a Smash-themed Costume/Cosplay contest! Bring your best cosplay, and if you impress our three judges well enough, you could win $250 Cash! More info to come.
Format
We will be using the CFL Smackdown rule-set for Ultimate, and the Mainstage rule-set for Melee/64.
This event will be run using the UCF Mod for Melee.
This event is BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller)
Schedule
Ultimate will have its own room in the venue, and Melee will have its own separate room.
10:00 AM - Doors Open, Free Play Begins, At-Door Spectator Registration Opens
10:30 AM - At-Door Registration is CLOSED, Doubles begins for both Ultimate and Melee.
1:00 PM - Doubles Top 4 for Ultimate + Melee
2:00 PM - Melee Singles Wave A + Ultimate Singles Wave A
4:00 PM - Melee Singles Wave B + Ultimate Singles Wave B
5:00 PM - Cosplay Contest + Awards Show
6:00 PM - Melee Singles Finals / Top 8
8:00 PM - Ultimate Finals / Top 8
NOTE: Scheduled times subject to change if necessary - the above listed times are the earliest at which these events will start.

Four Bracket Pools.
Top Four advance from each pool (2 winners, 2 losers)
For a total of an 16-man final bracket.
All matches before Top 16 are Bo3.
All Top 16 matches are Bo5.
