megaman by far. all other capcom chars might be good, but none of them would represent capcom on a nintendo game better than megaman since he was one of the best franchises (if not THE best) on the NES. i know people who never played a video game console after NES, and will only remember the system as Megaman, he was HUGE and is remembered by people who aren't even into videogames these days. megaman x was great too on snes and psx, but nothing beats classic megaman. he deserves a spot on brawl better than any other 3rd party character out there.

But given the way Smash tends to be a retrospective on old franchises, Megaman is by far the most deserving character to join up.
