Stolen from the backroom questionnaire, but I think its a fun question that gives people the chance to defend what is generally accepted as awful.

So what do you love that everyone else hates?

I was going to make a thread like this. lol

I have quite a few guilty pleasures, some of which some people might judge me for. "Super Mario Bros." and "Street Fighter" are two examples. I'd say "The Room", but everyone likes that movie too much for it to be a guilty pleasure. I also like "Showgirls" not for the T&A, but for the interesting story, if you can believe that. I also love all "Matrix" movies, as well as all movies in the "Saw" franchise.

I also liked "Batman Forever", and "Batman and Robin". Their cheese seem reminiscent of Adam West's Batman. There's also "Cinderella 2" and "Cinderella 3"... I don't know why I enjoy those, even though they're undoubtedly crap.

I was never able to join in on the extreme distaste bandwagon for the Star Wars prequels. Yes, I did watch Plinkett's reviews (And in fact, enjoy watching them), but for some reason I don't vehemently dislike the CGI, even if it is overused. Of course, there's still the matter of the talking alien rabbit and a love story so generic and sappy it's makes the Mario games come off as Shakespeare, but I do find some worth in watching them, even if all they do is make for a nice popcorn flick.

Another contender is Cars 2 for similar reasons.

I liked that 100 ways to die in the west movie, it was really bad, but it made me laugh at a few parts. So i didn't hate it

I'm probably one of the few who actually liked the Star Wars prequels. Still hate Jar Jar though. As for the CG in the original trilogy, I don't mind those either, but it could have definitely done without that awful musical number at Jabba's. Oh, and Han shot first...

I'll admit to liking Batman and Robin if only for the ridiculously cheesy value.

And things like the freaking Bat Credit Card.

Also, the Star Wars prequels.

Weirdly, I was never bothered by the Bat Credit Card. Probably because I was too naïve a child to really care, so the ridiculousness of it went over my head. Fast forward years later, and even hindsight doesn't make me hate it, even though I do understand the campiness of it.
Homemade pornography films.
Do... Do those even count?

The critics are wrong. Anyone who considers it bad is wrong. They were purposely trained wrong, as a joke.

Twisted form of nostalgia, which is perfectly fine.

The BCC is just so very silly to me.

The entire Matrix Trilogy, is there really much more to say? Nostalgia Critic covered these movies in detail this month - Although the first one was quite well received the other two suffered from lack of a lot of key elements that made the first movie good... Or just elements that make movies good in general.

Still love all three movies like I love every LoTR movie, except those are phenomenal. (In my opinion anyways)

Pretty sure most people hate Twilight and general chick-flicks like them; but they are the kind of movies I live for.

It's probably for nostalgic reasons, but I always liked the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch. Although some scenes would make Dr. Seuss spin in his grave, there are some really funny parts and Jim Carrey did a great job being the miserable old Grinch.

Also the Star-Wars prequels.

I know I like the Black Cauldron pretty good despite being considered a terrible movie. It's not a bad movie, but it did have a character that kinda sounds like a mix of Gollum & Jar Jar Binks with a look of an anthropomorphic dog that can get very grating (his name is Gurgi if anyone's curious about it). I did enjoy the movie, though.

There's also the Lion King 2. Not bad either, but it was obviously nowhere near as good as the first one.

Weirdly, I thought I would hate Twilight with every fiber of my being, but after watching it, it's actually not as bad as the Internet makes it out to be. I mean, sure, the quality is still lacking, but it could have been much worse. Kristen Stewart did the film no favors though.

The Star Wars prequels, Jim Carrey's The Grinch, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Across the Universe, Death Note, random Japanese horror flicks... I am a Christian, but I actually enjoyed Little Nicky.
Have you seen 'The Brown Bunny?'
First or second cut?

I actually liked star wars episode 2 & 3(only thing that isn't cringe worth in 1 IMO is darth maul). i also liked the additions/changes in the hobbit films.(still didn't like legolas being a spotlight stealer and a overall mary-sue hastily thrown in for cheap fanservice though.) Also though not considered really "bad" but merely just commonly considered forgettably average i really like "The bucket list" sheerly because of how well Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson played off each other.

Spiderman with Tobey Maguire. I loved those movies even though everyone hates Tobey.

I liked "Wild Wild West". Yes, I can admit the movie is way too corny and all, but there's something about steampunk, and the villain, Loveless, that's charming to me. A guilty pleasure for sure.

i barely see those movies, but one of them was Maleficent. I wasn't interested in it ever since they confirmed it was based on sleeping beauty animated movie (which i like). One of my friends said he enjoyed it, but i still wasn't convinced.

I hanged out with one of my other friends and he noticed it on DVD and purchased it. He wanted to watch it, so i thought..."Alright, i'll give it chance."

after watching it, i was completely wrong. it was a good movie and i enjoyed it :)

Angelina is perfect for the role of Maleficent and i like the change they made to the "true loves first kiss."

granted, the story IMO, is a little complicated and complex, but i think it's a good movie.

Let's see;

I guess the one that stands out to me would be Home on the Range; Often considered to be the single worst film in the Disney Animated Canon (contested only by Chicken Little, which I actually DID hate), but I liked it anyway. Don't know why, but I did.

Kung-Pow: Enter the Fist.

The Super Mario Bros movie and Batman Forever. Say what you want about them, but I will always think that Bob Hoskins and Tommy Lee Jones where fantastic in their respective roles.

Say what you will about the Super Mario Brothers movie, but Bob Hoskins made a perfect live-action Mario and we all know it. :p

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is pretty good for a Michael Bay movie, though. I found it better than the last two movies, at the very least; but critics ripped into it like it was Revenge of The Fallen (which I found unbearably stupid with it's juvenile humor and poorly-constructed new characters).
