I haven't read through the whole thread (not sure if this question has already been asked) but do you think there will be a soundtrack as well? I loved the music choices in the documentary and would love to hear them all together.

After watching that doco, the title music gets me pretty emotional. Was a really special insight into a community not unlike the gaming communities I've been a part of.

been playing melee since its release. during the early years i had no idea it was this big and people like isai were so good.i was 12 i believe and i remember going to my local video game store for a tournament. me and my brother ended up meeting each other in grand finals. it wasnt that hype but it was good to know that we were both the best in our region. now that ive watched this i feel so hype. i wanna get better and very fast.

thanks to you. my love for this game has come back .

hopefully one day ill be going to these tournaments. been counting all the hours i played (training and human matches) ever since i got back to the game. 30 hours and 30 minutes rough estimate out of 16 days of smash! been getting a lot better too

I watched every single episode. It was truly amazing.

My outlook on Smash Brothers has changed since I watched it, and I am more committed to the game.

Kinda felt as if it got a bit stretched in terms of plot by 7 with m2k and 8 really lost the wheels on it. Did feel as if the Hbox part got a bit too fluffy near the middle there for my taste and I'm sure others too. Also lost the point of Mangos rise and had the thought that the episode didn't really fit with the grand image of the movie like eps.1-6. 9 really should have had more limelight on pp or armada and the ending left me a bit disappointed. Stilled liked it overall you did a lot of little things well.

I just finished watching it for the second time. It truly is an amazing documentary and greatly surpassed my expectations. I watched it all in one sitting, I couldnt stop. I wasnt expecting much at first but I loved it, made all my friends watch it too

I posted above that I was looking for a place that had links to as many matches as possible that were mentioned in the doc. From Samox's reply, I couldn't tell if he had a list like that that he was post, so I went ahead and started this list myself. I went through the first two episodes and wrote down every match mentioned, and then tried to look as many up on youtube as I could. I might try and do this for the other episodes down the line (if the list doesn't exist already), but I don't have time right now, so anybody can feel free to go through the other episodes. Also I think I searched everywhere on youtube for these matches, but if you know of a match that should be on my list, and have the link to it (Doesn't have to be youtube, but thats the only place I looked), let me know.

Episode 1 - Show Me Your Moves
There weren't actually that many tournament matches mentioned in Ep 1 (TG4 is the only tournment mentioned IIRC), but I looked for all the 'friendlies' mentioned too. I heard Ken mention on his stream recently that the videos from TG4 aren't available anywhere, but I was able to find one video. This isn't actually mentioned in Episode 1, but it's talked about at the beginning of Episode 4, and it's the money match between Ken and Sam at TG4.

The Ken vs Chillin set is losers bracket at Game Over, sometime after he lost to Chillin. Also there is at least one match of Ken vs DA Dave. Once upon a time there was another match, but I deleted it by accident long ago. Maybe someone somewhere still has these matches!

I know a lot of people are telling you to go with armada for the next smash, but if Dr PeePee wins MLG and Evo which I think he will, then it should definitely be about his rise. This would perserve the roughly chronological order of the documentary and keep it moving forward with smash history. PP destroyed M2K in a Marth ditto, he won Kings of Cali from losers when Hugs was scoffing at the possibility, and beat mango in a falco ditto in Apex 2014.

If this thing gets funded, it will destroy brains like TSB did. I wouldn't make something new unless I was pushing the boundaries of awesomeness somehow.

Armada has been way more dominant over the past 2-3 years. They both deserve a spot in this next project though as they are both amazing players.
