every IC player likes to be gay as hell with grabs, so they naturally gravitate to other characters that gay people with grabs. 80% of IC mains have ddd as a second. maybe more. but yes, kirby and pikachu also gay people with grabs so it makes sence that IC mains would play them too.

Pikachu has a chaingrab against like...5-7 characters. Most of them mid or low tier. Snake's grab game is gayer IMO 
I'm also fairly certain that Cura's secondary in tourneys when he's serious is MK so...yeah

I don't think most of the UB kids actually use SWF goggles. My first match in losers the kid I was playing actually asked me "where are all these rules coming from?" O_O
