just a bit of a preliminary judgment, i like your lucas,but in the 2ndmatch of the low tier grand finals, where you CPed luigi's mansion. your main mistake was allowing only half of the mansion to be destroyed, after the left half was decimated, there was an obvious difference in momentum, with the link shutting down all of your attack options. If you're getting knock backed each time you try to approach, usually hanging back for a second an analyzing is the best thing to do, you can easily outrun link and find a better position for attack

have you watched videos of this player Ciaw? He's from Europe, he plays a nice Lucas and as far as i've seen, good tournament results (placed 4th at a 51 entrants tournament)

Can I just make a suggestion?
Alot of the character boards have video compendiums, where the person who wants to add the videos, just puts a single post where they want their videos. They can later edit this, to add more videos, and you can just link their single post. It's much cleaner, then you can just add miscellaneous videos below.

Donkey Kong Boards Video Thread is an example.

There's nothing wrong with it...but it would just be a little tidier.

Oh...well you just tell everyone to make a post with all their videos with in it....and the person can later edit it. Just click on the post number, and it'll go to the single post, so you can later link that. I dunno if the other Lucas mains are okay with it...so you might wanna ask if they're okay with it first lol.

work on your options out of shield, i saw some things like rolling or spotdodging after successfully shield an attack. Same with shield grabbing or jab attacks when you can't (like squirtle's fair+jab combo)
btw, what's your configuration? c-bouncing, b-stick?

Okay thanks APC :). I B-stick. I know C-bouncing is probably better, but there's less chance of screwing up when you B-stick.

****! he did something i was going to post today that i tried yesterday, full hop nair+psi magnet. According to frame data, i tried some possibilities in a single full jump, the one i liked the most was bair+psi magnet, it works this way, zone with the first aerial and then hit with psi magnet. Props to 3des

I thought the AT demonstrational was very good. Though in Tournaments i doubt going under Final Destination will help but it was cool to see.

btw ima try and upload vids of me going against my bro (a lucario main) just for the lawls and cuz im bored today

Edit: um how do I make an SD file video playable? Like idk how to. :p

cool vids :D I especially like the one of MK vs. Lucas on PS. I always like seeing a MK lose to anyone and it's even better when it's Lucas. xD

So rPSI do you know how to change an SD card .bin video to be compatible? I am soooo bad with computers it is horrible. (sorry for noobish computer questions)

You have to have a video capture card. What I did is I just recorded what came out of my wii.

Okay, so I've got my first tournament vids ever :p Scrubby Aus vids but still would like some feedback ^^

I think I got a little nervous in this match as I was doing some pretty horrid tactical things, but if there's anything you guys can pinpoint other than:

- Learn 2 Utilt/DI/CP properly
- Pivot dash grab instead of standard grab
- Stop recovering with PKT2 above the stage

I'd be very appreciative ^^ I have another tournament coming up this Sunday and looking to beat this guy in a tournament set for once xD (I would like to defend my choice for a grab at the end of Game 1, as it was more a prediction that paid off :p)

coincidentally, i was thinking about the lucas' olimar matchup.

you know what's also pretty quick when used far away, has a pretty good disjoint and is capable of killing all pikmin except purple (but they don't latch anyway)? uair.

i think it would be better to use uair to kill the latching pikmin rather than fsmash, but meh.
