So, this isn't going to be a huge write-up or anything, but I just wanted to thank all those who are Roy fans/supports and throw in some thoughts I have... Honestly, I had fun supporting Roy all these years. Hell, even if you're not a fan or are in different, it's still been fun having discussions (like FE in general and whatnot).
I joined this forum in like what, 2012? The main reason being the Roy boards in the vet section. I saw all these threads supporting characters, and then there was Roy's under veterans. He's my Melee main, and I did miss him in Brawl, so why not join the forums and throw in my support? Well, I ended up sticking around a lot longer than what I originally thought. Mostly because I made some great friends over the years here, and it's fun talking to people who have similar interests. But I did branch out to other threads, especially character guides and whatnot. I learned so much more about Smash and my mains, and I took the game more seriously and changed my perspective to a more competitive one.

ChronoBound who's probably one of the oldest joined members that supported Roy all these years. But not only that, he provided so much resources, info, and counter arguments in regards to Roy and Smash. Definitely helped in the long run. And all this effort was worth it in the end. as well. I remember some time ago he made a thread promoting the royforsmash4 website, and I personally contacted him after. It's a good thing because I learned that there's a Facebook group, which I joined shorty after. And I had a blast partaking in the group. It's so nice meeting passionate fans, honestly, and there's just too many people to tag... So special thanks to all the supporters and fans.
I still can't get over how awesome Roy is in this game. Whether you've been a long term Roy fan or a new one, it's all good. Cuz Roy's our boy no matter what!!
The victory is really sweet actually. All those Roy Koopa jokes can now cease to exist, Lonely Roy isn't so lonely anymore, Awkward Zombie potential on Roy's return, and Roy's moveset is just awesome and fun, which probably brought a lot of people who weren't keen on Roy returning on board with him. I think this generation will be a lot better for Roy and the community, at least I hope so.
