If you don't stone edge twice in a row, I can set up a substitute of my own, endeavor, and then smack you with stone edge. Stone Edge twice in a row does 88% and pushes me into Salac range anyway, letting me endeavor as you attack me the second time and then outspeed to stone edge. The defensive EVs keep Stone Edge+Sky Attack from ko'ing.

That loses anyway too, lol. Close Combat isn't a guaranteed KO (91%-108%), so I'll just stone edge as you switch in, and if you CC the stat drop will allow me to outspeed and kill you. Brave bird recoil will also push you into Stone Edge KO range even after leftovers recovery. Roosting repeatedly will just be met with return/endeavor PP stalling, but the situation is the same because you will still be outsped and 2hko'ed based on the side effects of your moves, neither of which 1hko me.

Well Staraptor would be neutral to Stone Edge in OU+ and have STAB on Close Combat, unless you already factored that into your calculations.

Also, using Close Combat lowers my defenses, not my Speed.
