Smash Journeyman
Me and KO are the best of mid tennessee (I'm still confident I'm one of the best in TN in general, but memphis doesn't get over here terribly often, so it's hard to judge), I main Yoshi with almost every other char at a passable tourney level(most notably marth/roy falcon, fox, and sheik), and he mains ganon, but will try to play pichu and bowser when he's bored.
Then there's mr. pickle, who's a surprisingly decent M2 main, or at least shows potential when he's not choking on his own **** during tourneys, he comes over at least once a month or so.
Besides us, there are a couple people in the murfreesboro area that are kinda at an ok to beginner level, but don't play as often: Alex (marth, falco), Ash (marth, falco, falcon) Cody (jiggz/marth).
Nashville is about 30-40 minutes away depending on where you are in smyrna/mboro, and Knoxville will be around 3.5-4h away. In Nashville is samba and his crew, who are all alright, but don't quite get out enough to get the experience to be terribly good, despite having some really promising stuff.
Me and KO are actually roommates and live together, so there'll normally be someone here to play regardless of when you want to, but just know we don't really like to play eachother, and we're both in a phase where we find it hard to get excited about melee like we used to. I could still play for hours on end, if you wanted to(KO gets bored mad fast though), but I've been trying to train the newbies for so long, I dunno how much I could tolerate seriously. I legit hope you can beat me so I'm forced to think about the game again, and it can freshen up my interests.

I love playing for hours and hours on end, so expect lots of Melee from me when I have days off of work. I practically revived the Melee scene in Ohio, so it might die after I leave, but I know I can get Tenessee's scene going once again. You guys just have to be willing to let it happen.
