Because Bayonetta is a 3rd party character that has only had one game on a Nintendo console, and third party slots are limited.

I doubt putting Bayonetta in Smash 4 would honestly increase interest in the Wii U that much, certainly not much more than just releasing Smash 4 itself.

Agreed completely, she looks really offputting to me. Maybe she (read: her designer) is just trying too hard?

I mean... I dunno. Look at her. She's just kind of gross, actually. Comes off as a 40-year old woman who's really trying to nap some college guys.

Am I the only one who thought of the Impact Crater from Metroid Prime 1 when I saw the pic of the day. On closer inspection it appears they're going down the generic environments route again. Groan. No story like in Melee but generic environments (I'm aware that Skyworld, the Halberd and the Abandoned Zoo are from Nintendo games) like in Brawl. The worst of both worlds.

Eh... You may have a point there I'm afraid, not that I really see the lack of story as that much of a con, as it allows them to focus more on other aspects of the game (Brawl's development time focused waaaay too much around SSE). Still, agree on the environments. What about the update reminded you of the Impact Crater from the 1st Prime though, out of curiosity? The platforms?
