So I once had an idea for the Stork being a playable character. It came out after Yoshi's Island DS where you could call the Stork down and he'd give you different babies. So his moveset was based on that.

You don't just play as the Stork, you play as Stork & Babies.

Yeah you play as the Stork carrying a baby in his beak. The baby will be poking his or her head and arms out of the blanket and helps attacks do a lot of the attacking for the Stork. You can actually switch the babies around between:

Baby Mario
Baby Peach
Baby Donkey Kong
Baby Wario
Baby Bowser
