With talk of a Super Smash Bros. 4, I thought it'd be fun to compile a list of possible candidates and see who would be more favored to the general public. Voting will end on December 31st at 12:00 PM CST.

I think that out of all of the third-party characters, Lloyd is the most probable. Tales Of Syphonia (I don't know nor do I care if I spelled that right) was a Game Cube exclusive (In America) and they recently released a sequel exclusive to the Wii.

Although I would really like to see Sora in, after all, when Brawl was in production I was a big supporter of him.

For third-parties, it seems natural to do the first main/protagonist character of a series. So Cless/Cress Alvein may be another choice for candidates ('Tales of' series).

I mean aside from the Mother series and Pokemon (no Bulbasaurz, or Kangaskan/Rhydon for programming funz), Sakurai basically followed that rule since the first Smash, no?

No, Tales of Phantasia, which was the first in the series, was on the SNES in Japan-only. Roughly Twelve years later it was re-released on the GBA.

Oh, and being the DBZ fanboy that I am I would like to see Vegeta (or Goku) in too.

Viewtiful Joe would be too overpowered against all characters by using slow time. Travis Touchdown, I want him in SSB4, but what about Rick from 'Splatterhouse' game, he should be put in SSB4, because I want to see his power.

Lip - Her puzzle games is awesome, best Nintendo has to offer when it comes to fun puzzle games besides Dr. Mario. Plus she fits the bill for more female fighters, magic users, and young characters as well, though Japanese rules still applys, her puzzle games are in the US but don't have her in it however. Plus Viper would kill me if I didn't say this. ^_^;

Isaac - Golden Sun might rise up and make a great big importance to Nintendo, and Isaac might make a wonderful chracter to play as.

Captain Rainbow - Though, populer in Japan as well, he's games reps a lot of sweet Japan chracter icons. Me, I just like his name and what he does in his games.
